Paralegals

Publications Intern.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Interns will work with editors to perform substantive legal research,

proofread and edit copy, bluebook articles for publication, and draft

Amicus Briefs, Reports for U.N., OAS, etc.

 

Depending on interest and ability,

Intern may also write an Introduction and for primary source legal documents posted on the MYHRP website.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ideal candidates for the Legal Publications internship are second- and third-year law students or recent graduates with the following attributes:

 

Journal experience:

 

Familiar with the Bluebook

Completed coursework in legal research, legal writing, and international Law Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

An interest in international law and foreign relations is preferred, and

knowledge of foreign languages is desirable

 

Interns must be available to work online or at MYHRP headquarters in Woodland Hills.

 

A commitment of at least one day per week for the duration of the semester is required, and two days are preferred.
