COMMUNICATION & PR DEPARTMENT

Communications and Membership Intern

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Interns will work with the Membership and Communications Departments

 

In the following ways:

 

Update contact lists

Monitor and record news coverage of MYHRP and related events

Photograph and write descriptive captions for photos

Email news releases

Draft emails to members and prospective members

Draft summaries and news releases

Assist with special projects such as member surveys and marketing

 

Qualifications:

 

Ideal candidates for the Communications and Membership internship are undergraduate students with the following attributes:

 

Interested in International Affairs and Public Relations

Excellent Written and Verbal Skills

Outgoing

Detail Oriented

Flexible

Eager to Learn

Experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Google Apps.

Please indicate availability, including beginning and end dates and approximate number of hours per week. (A minimum of 15 are required.)
